Current Happenings

New Chief Archer and Deputy Chief Archers

Recenty, due to work commitments, our Chief Archer, Lord Ehrig, had to step down. He moved into the Deputy Chief Archer position, and THL Khulan Shizir, recently retired, has taken up the Chief Archer position. Huzzah to both for their continuing and wonderful service! The Barony has also gained a marvelous new archery deputy, Lady Ceara. There are two more archery deputy positions open. Please contact the chief archer if you are interested!

News from the March Archery Practice

Archery was well attended today and we had really mild weather! YAH! Thank you to all of you for the help in setting up, running the ranges, our new TAM did a fine job. We had a new youth archer today who did very well today She picked it up with ease and had great help on the range!! Thank you, thank you to HL Kassandra for helping with everything from start to finish. So many details. We had a really nice turn out! Thank you EVERYONE!!!! We had such a nice time!

We have targets to glue up (Thank you Alis for buying them) we need the net replaced for next practice, that is being worked on also. The trench Al & Tona Warner cut in behind the short range diverted the majority of rain water away from the short range. Their hard & muddy work paid off, THANK YOU!

Yup all in all it was a great day!

Much Thanks to Everyone who helped Reconstruct the Archery Range at Seabeck!

We offer thanks for all the hard work and effort that went into building and working on the DL Seabeck Archery range today. Thank you Lady and Gents, your commitment and generosity of your so valuable comodity: TIME.

With the HL Arion OGGS, were HL Loric OGGS, Archers Al & Tona Warner, tools and supplies in hand and HL Thorfinn OGGS with his shop, tools, supplies and lots moral support! Oh, don't forget the duct tape! We all know the value of duct tape! These good folk worked all afternoon and created a thing of beauty and disposed of the old one! Our DL youth and short range shooters will be so pleased! We all will bennifit for their efforts.

Their investment of their time and energy made it possible for the range to be open for practices in March! HUZZAH!

Practices

Spring/Summer Archery Schedule Starts 1st May

Every Wednesday, from 5:30 to 7 pm (ish), during the spring and summer archery practice takes place at the chief archer's house in Seabeck. The third Sunday of the month will feature a practice at Arcos Loric's house. These are private locations, so please the contact the Chief Archer, THL Khulan Shizir, or Deputy Chief Archer for more information on attending archery practice.

The first Spring Practice at Seabeck will feature a potluck and novelty shoot!
